To Modify Comment Permissions After the Workflow is Completed

Comments Tracking Administrators can also modify permissions for comments on documents within a Comments Tracking workflow after the workflow is completed. Some examples of when this would be required are as follows:
  • A mistake was made assigning permissions during the final task of a workflow
  • A new organization was added to a project and needs visibility on the existing comments.

Follow these steps to modify comment permissions after a completed comments tracking workflow.

  1. Log into Comments Tracking as a user who has been configured as a Comments Tracking Administrator.
  2. Navigate to the completed workflow.
  3. Select the Comments tab.
  4. From the Actions menu, select Modify Comment Permissions.
  5. Select one or more roles that you want to remove, and then from the Actions menu, select Remove Role Security.
  6. When you are finished, click Save ( ).
Changes are applied to all approved comments and all final decisions for all documents on the workflow.
Note: All roles defined in Comments Tracking Administrator Permission Roles are automatically granted view and modify permissions on all approved comments and all final decisions for all documents on the workflow.
